Decentralized Treasury, DAO Governance, Web3 Funding Infrastructure

Product Used

Zeeve Managed Infrastructure + Polygon CDK

Key Outcomes
  • Production mainnet running a ZK-powered L2 on Polygon CDK, settled on Fushuma's own L1 (Callisto Network) instead of Ethereum.
  • Infrastructure costs reduced to near zero compared to the team's previous L1 operations.
  • Predictable, managed infrastructure costs through Zeeve's RaaS model.
  • Custom CDK modifications by Zeeve to enable non-Ethereum settlement, a first-of-its-kind deployment configuration. .
  • Throughput jumped from 15 TPS to over 1,000 TPS.
  • Full operational support including TraceHawk explorer, high-performance RPC nodes, testnet faucets, and monitoring dashboards.
The way most blockchain projects fund themselves has a structural weakness. Capital comes in through a one-time token sale, gets spent over months, and eventually runs out. There is rarely a mechanism for continuous funding, and investors have limited visibility into how treasuries are managed once the money is raised.

This pattern has played out across hundreds of ICO/IDO-funded projects that burned through their treasuries without accountability. DAOs were supposed to fix this by introducing community governance, but most have struggled with execution and transparency in reality. The result is a persistent trust gap between project teams and the investors who back them.

Fushuma was designed to replace this "burn-and-hope" model with a Decentralized Venture Club, a sustainable, community-driven engine for continuous innovation.
What does Fushuma Do?
Fushuma is a blockchain ecosystem where funding is continuous, treasury operations happen entirely on-chain, and governance sits with the community rather than a central team.

The founding team came to this vision through direct experience with the traditional model. Before Fushuma, they have built, operated and raised institutional investment. The conventional corporate structure served its purpose, but they encountered persistent friction around high operational costs, limited flexibility, slow decision-making, and low transparency for their investors.

Those lessons shaped the architecture of Fushuma, that can be seen as a community-led treasury where FUMA token holders act as the venture capitalists. The ecosystem uses Exponential Bonding Curves (XBC) to adjust token pricing dynamically based on market participation.
The Fushuma model works in three steps:

Discovery

Builders present ideas to the community treasury for milestone-based funding.

Collective Decision

FUMA holders vote directly on which projects receive grants.

Shared Success

When a funded project launches, the community is rewarded with token airdrops, allowing FUMA holders to grow a diversified portfolio passively.
To ensure this "On-Chain Democracy" operates at scale, Fushuma needed a high-performance chain.
The Infrastructure Challenge
Fushuma selected Polygon CDK as its execution layer because of its modular architecture, which allowed the team to customize consensus mechanisms, economic parameters, and governance logic to fit their specific requirements. The CDK's support for ZK proofs also meant that all computation on the network would be verifiable without compromising throughput.

However, Fushuma had one requirement that set this deployment apart from standard CDK rollups.

  • The team chose to settle their L2 on Callisto Network, their own L1, rather than on Ethereum.

  • This decision gave Fushuma full sovereignty over its economic model, free from dependency on Ethereum's gas dynamics or congestion patterns.

The challenge was that Polygon CDK was built with Ethereum settlement in mind. Adapting it to work with a different L1 required manual modifications to the CDK node itself. The sequencing logic, settlement flow, and cross-layer communication all had to be reworked to align with Callisto Network's finality model, while preserving the integrity of ZK proof generation and verification throughout.

This level of customization required deep familiarity with both the Polygon CDK stack and the target settlement layer, and it is where Zeeve's engineering capability became critical.
  • What Zeeve Delivered
Zeeve took on full responsibility for deploying and managing Fushuma's mainnet, starting with the most technically demanding piece of the project.
The first priority was making CDK compatible with Callisto Network. Zeeve's engineering team made hands-on modifications to the CDK node to reroute settlement from Ethereum to Callisto, adapting the sequencing and finality logic while ensuring that ZK proof generation and verification remained intact. This work turned a standard Ethereum-settling rollup into a sovereign chain anchored to Fushuma's own L1.

With the custom settlement layer in place, Zeeve built out the surrounding infrastructure to support production operations.

    High-performance RPC nodes

High-performance RPC nodes to handle transaction routing and developer access without bottlenecks.

    TraceHawk explorer

TraceHawk explorer for complete visibility into on-chain activity. Every treasury movement, every governance vote, every token transfer is traceable in real time.

    Developer tooling

Testnet faucets and developer tooling to support the ecosystem's growing builder community.

    Monitoring dashboards

Monitoring dashboards that give both the Fushuma team and Zeeve's operations team a live view of chain health, performance metrics, and potential issues.

    Ongoing Managed Operations

Ongoing managed operations covering stack updates, configuration tuning, and any future integrations the Fushuma team requests.

Through Zeeve's Rollups-as-a-Service model, Fushuma now operates with predictable monthly infrastructure costs instead of the variable spend that comes with managing blockchain infrastructure independently.

The performance improvement was significant. Fushuma went from 15 TPS on their previous infrastructure to over 1,000 TPS on the CDK-powered chain, while bringing infrastructure costs down to near zero.
"Zeeve dedicated their time and expertise to deploying our L2 on Callisto Network, showing that even custom L2 deployments can be smooth and cost-effective."

For organizations exploring on-chain treasury management, DAO-governed funding models, or any financial use case that demands chain-level sovereignty, the Fushuma deployment could be a great reference. The architecture delivers the security guarantees of ZK proofs and the scalability of a rollup, without requiring settlement on Ethereum or conforming to default configurations that may not fit the use case.
