Zeeve organized a webinar titled: “The Rise of App-chains: Driving Scalability, Security, and Performance with Application-Specific Blockchains.”

Dr. Ravi Chamria, CEO & Co-Founder of Zeeve, starts the webinar by briefly introducing the topic by discussing the concept of app chains, which are application-specific blockchains that allow users to have their custom blockchain dedicated to their single app.

Additionally, app chains offer the benefit of controlling gas fees, as they can be paid in the native token of the app chain. This level of customization allows for more straightforward configuration and privacy control, making app chains an attractive option for enterprises.

Dr. Ravi discusses the objectives and importance of app chains. He adds that with app chains, users control their own blockchain configurations and customizations while renting security and decentralization from the main chain.

He also points out the challenges of scalability on layer 2 blockchains, such as Ethereum’s Polygon, as they grow in popularity. He also mentions the concept of side chains, which are separate blockchains linked to the main chain, providing scalability similar to layer 2 solutions.

Dr.Ravi explains two popular frameworks for building blockchains: the Cosmos SDK and Substrate. These frameworks provide a ready set of plugins and modules for developers to create custom blockchains.

App chains’ benefits and interoperability within the Cosmos ecosystem are also discussed. The Cosmos SDK allows users to create their blockchain called zones, which can connect to the main chain and other zones.

Dr. Ravi further mentions Substrate as another popular framework for creating app chains within the Polkadot network. Overall, the rise of app chains brings greater predictability, easier maintenance, and interoperability within blockchain ecosystems.

He also explains the concept of app chains, which are application-specific blockchains powered by layer one or layer two protocols like Ethereum. App chains typically run a single application and offer customization and configuration options to match specific needs, such as compliance and security requirements.

Dr. Ravi highlights the concept of app chains and how they solve the need for more decentralization. He explains that app chains allow for the leasing of decentralization from the main chain rather than requiring the complex process of bringing in validators to make the chain more decentralized.

Dr. Ravi describes the rise of app chains and how they are gaining traction in the market. He even explains the launch of Polygon’s ZK-VM supernet, which is based on ZK cryptography and offers high throughput and fast finality time.

He further mentions Binance’s application side chains, which allow for custom configuration and control over gas fees.

Dr. Ravi discusses the benefits of using their custom blockchain solution, app chains. They emphasize that app chains can significantly reduce the time it takes to create a custom blockchain from months to minutes or hours.

He stresses that app chains simplify the process of building and launching a custom blockchain, allowing developers to focus on their applications and communities.

Dr. Ravi further answers a few questions from the audience about using subgraphs and suggests that app chains are a cost-effective option for MVPs and industry-specific use cases.

Lastly, Dr. Ravi discusses the concept of app chains and their benefits. He also explains how app chains can be used for analytics, including indexing data and building analytical dashboards.

Dr.Ravi then concludes the webinar by briefly introducing Zeeve, a blockchain infrastructure service platform and expressing his gratitude to the audience.

He encourages viewers to connect with Zeeve on various social media platforms to learn more about Zeeve`s services.
