On the 14th of February, Ghan Vashishtha (cofounder & CTO, Zeeve) presented his 7th Enterprise Blockchain Adoption series episode on the topic “Managing Blockchain Infrastructure.”He started by talking about the whole Enterprise adoption series and mentions this is the last episode in this series. He talked about the endless possibility that blockchain has for us.

At the start of the session, Ghan shared the agenda for the webinar. They were –

He explained what we mean when we say blockchain as a service and how blockchain is becoming an integral part of many industries.

Ghan discussed the use case of blockchain infrastructure such as Consensus, Platform, Instance, APIs, etc. He talked about blockchain architecture, hardware & software. He talked about the challenges in implementation of blockchain. Some of them are: Decentralization is missing, Time to market, Cost of setup and ownership, etc.

Ghan discussed one of the biggest challenges, the ‘costs’. He went on to discuss the solution, Blockchain Infra Automation where he talks about the challenges that this technology is going to solve the cost challenge.

He stressed on the importance of the blockchain infrastructure management platform. Then he mentions what type of maintenance is provided by a third-party provider. Some of them are:

• Highly Scalable
• Robust security measures
• Cost-effective
• Flexible, etc.

Ghan stressed adopting blockchain as a service now because this is a perfect time. This industry is growing at a rapid rate.

He tells about the critical aspects of monitoring that all users should incorporate into their blockchain environments. Some of them identify and mitigate suspicious behaviors, receive real-time alerts for critical issues, create access and infrastructure control policies, etc.

He shows and explains the blockchain monitoring platform framework.

Ghan discussed the complexity in infrastructures onboardings such as lack of portability, ensuring HA & scaling, enterprise-grade security & support, etc. Then he talked about the blockchain provider selection criteria.
